About Me: Daymon H
A Personal Website Dedicated to Learning and Sharing The Digital Arts
DaymonH.com is a labor of love for digital arts dating all the way back to around 2004 (ish) when I caught “the bug” for web development and design. I taught myself how to build a website with just a hosting account and a text editor. The state of building websites has evolved so much since then. Now anybody who can write an email can also build a website with just a few button clicks from a good hosting provider.
I still love building websites, but I’ve learned doing that as a freelance for clients is not my cup of tea. The hosting companies make all the money with subscriptions while the developer gets paid per job.
I intend to use DaymonH.com to broaden my horizons a little by learning a few things I naturally have an affinty for anyway. Photography, videography, drawing (digitally), graphic design, and anything else that captures my fancy. I’ll be posting my newbie work and everything thereafter in the form of blog posts and galleries and more. I’ll also be posting about my experiences in learning these things.
